‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: Janel Parrish on Mona – Charles dilemma

Earlier this week, “Pretty Little Liars” unveiled a number of big surprises … and it’s crazy to think that Mona being alive is only the tip of the iceberg. The biggest reveal of the episode is that we seemingly know the name of “Big A”: Charles. It seems to be that he is the brother of Jason DiLaurentis, or at least this is what the evidence wants us to believe. Is there any guarantee that this is the case? Not exactly, but it is something that we have to at least consider.

One other thing that you can probably expect to see now is a whole lot more Mona, given that she now has a reason to be back in the story now. Not only that, but Janel Parrish tells Entertainment Weekly that her character “will be treated differently because she is [Charles’] favorite.” However, she also hints that she will “still be punished” in her own way.

One thing that we still have to figure out here when it comes to the Charles character is what his specific motives are. For example, does he hold ill will against the Liars and Alison over the way they behaved, or something specific in their past? Given that the Liars have almost no clue who he is, it does not feel as though there is enough history between them directly for there to be a vendetta.

Then again, there is also a possibility that Charles could be a code word…
