‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Will NeNe Leakes reenter therapy?

There is something so bizarre about the current storyline on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” regarding NeNe Leakes and therapy. We don’t know how to describe it except like this: NeNe wanted to get the group to deal with their feelings in a more productive way than they have before. With that in mind, she determined that the right thing for them to do would be for them to enter therapy together.

However, when the going got tough and she felt attacked, the tough got going, and the sneak peek below is all about Dr. Jeff trying to convince her to come back in for counseling. However, she doesn’t seem too interested in listening, and the other women do not exactly seem particularly interested in having her. They seem a little more inclined in just going about their business, and continuing their self-improvement in their own way.

Ultimately, we have to say that we really doubt that NeNe is going to be away from this group forever. This is a show that thrives on drama and producing a particular narrative, and without her around the other women, it suddenly becomes a million or so times harder to actually produce that narrative in full. The show is more interesting when the women are really confronting one another.
