‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 16 preview: Alicia and Peter get testy; Diane sees dollar signs
“Red Meat” is the 16th episode of “The Good Wife” season 6, and when it airs on CBS Sunday night, relationships will be a theme … just not in any sort of candy-coated, super-romantic way. Instead, this is about how relationships can be used to increase your credibility and also boost your own reputation. They are complicated, especially in the worlds of law and politics. Both of the sneak peeks below reflect that in very different manners.
1. Alicia vs. Peter on race – If you love awkward conversations between husband and wife, this sneak peek is for you! This is an excellent 50 or so seconds of dichotomy. It starts with the two accusing each other of leveraging each other for political points, and things get testy when it comes to whether or not Alicia wanted him to appear as a racist. Then, it ends with them smiling and embracing in front of photographers. The editors are the unsung heroes here for the way they cut to the footage outside of the car.

2. Diane and Kurt’s hunting trip – This sneak peek could not be more different, even if it also features a husband-and-wife pair you don’t see together all of the time. Kurt has taken his wife on a hunting trip, and it is hardly the same sort you go on with your pals. The people who surround these two are so rich, you may think that they are a part of one of those bizarre human-hunting coalitions you see in science fiction movies. In reality, they are just people who are drawing all sorts of fascination from Christine Baranski’s character. She recognizes their value in more ways than one.
