‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 13 preview: Chloe Bennet, Blair Underwood take center stage

Given everything that she has been through on “Agents of SHIELD” as of late, plus standard “protocol,” there is one thing that Skye is going to have to do on Tuesday night’s new episode that she certainly does not like: Having to speak with a therapist. In her mind, it does not even matter that this same therapist happens to also be Melina May’s ex. You would think that this would up the intrigue factor of it by at least a certain degree … and it does! It just doesn’t mean that Skye is suddenly ready to talk about her feelings.

Instead, the bulk of the sneak peek below is spent watching Chloe Bennet’s character beat around the bush with Andrea (Blair Underwood) about what it was actually like being married to a woman who has no real interest in showing emotion the majority of the time. The curiosity factor here is increased thanks to him more or less being the same way.

Nothing is really accomplished here, other than him accusing her of deflecting her problems … which you really cannot be too surprised about, since this is far from her first rodeo when she comes to this sort of counseling. She’s been down this road before, and therefore knows a thing or two about how to manipulate the situation.

As much fun as she may have inquiring about May’s personal life, though, sooner or later she is going to have to open up. Otherwise, she could be stuck in this not-so-pleasant situation forever.
