‘The Voice UK’ review: Are Lara Lee, Howard Rose, Sasha Simone, Daniel Duke on Team Tom Jones?

“The Voice UK” concluded its weekend of Knockout Rounds with the various members of Team Tom Jones performing their hearts out, and trying to make it through to the live rounds. Tom’s proven to be a good mentor over the years, and it’s with that in mind that making it to the finals with him may be even more important than with some other choices.

With all of this being said, we would probably say that his choices for his team are probably the most questionable ones that we’ve seen throughout the entire weekend. If we were naming some of our own personal favorites at the moment, we would say Howard Rose, Sharon Murphy, and Daniel Duke all deserved to make it through.

Howard Rose – Well, one out of three is okay, we guess. Howard just has something very interesting about his personality and his vocal style. There is a ton of competition for his sort of singer this year, but he still stands out with a unique style.

Lara Lee – She is definitely a great singer, but to us, this is mostly a matter of personal preference more than anything else. She really didn’t do much wrong, and we understand why exactly Tom picked her.

Sasha Simone – She wasn’t a personal favorite, and we’ve felt there are some control issues here and there. Can some of these be corrected? We definitely think that they can, but Tom has some work to do with her. She’s almost a diamond in the rough, and if he does bring the best out of her, she could surprise.
