‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Colton Haynes’ message has us even more nervous

“Arrow” obviously wants you to be very much worried about something that is coming up a little bit later this season. Obviously, you wouldn’t have the latest message from Colton Haynes otherwise.

Yesterday, we shared a post from series star Stephen Amell that made us almost immediately anxiety-ridden that something terrible was going to happen to one of the characters on the show, and also one that has been around for a long time. Reading the second message from Haynes basically confirms that. The obvious implication here is that an important character could be dying later this season, and we imagine that quite a few people would be at risk of that. This includes even Haynes’ own Roy. The only people we would assume to be 100% right now are Oliver (he’s the heart of the show) and Laurel, given that they took so much time to start the Black Canary storyline that we really cannot see them ending it right now. We’re worried about virtually every other regular. Given that Ray Palmer is supposedly going to be a part of the currently-proposed “Arrow” spin-off series, we’re also not altogether worried about him, either.

If you are looking for some timing for this move, think along the lines of a few episodes out from the finale. Whatever happens could be a catalyst that sets in motion everything else that happens on the show … and you should be worried. The show doesn’t seem to want it any other way for the time being.
