‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ preview: Dan Foley delivers!

Yes, we know that Dan Foley on “Survivor: Worlds Apart” is not technically a mailman, but that is not going to stop us from making postal service-related puns throughout this season!

Last week’s premiere was certainly not a great one for Dan in the slightest. He tried too hard to know everything and do everything, and basically alienated almost all of his tribe in the process. Basically, he was a longtime fan of the show who tried so hard to prove his love for it that he went completely overboard. Maybe he will start to tone some of that down a little bit now that he is actually in the game and not scrambling around on the first day. So long as he keeps winning challenges, he really does not have to worry too much about everything else.

Here’s the thing: We’re really impressed by what Dan does in the sneak preview below! He is the oldest male contestant this season and if you look at it, “physical force” is not the first thing that comes to mind. However, he really holds his own in the first part of the immunity / reward challenge below. When you think about everything from swimming to navigating through the ropes, he actually finishes ahead of both Vince and Tyler. You have to younger, fit guys here, with the latter even briefly being a part of an NFL training camp. Not bad for a postal technician from Maine!

Aside from Dan, the other person who could obviously be in danger going into this episode is Vince. On paper, he’s a great contestant, but he may be going a little bit too overboard with his attempts to take out Jenn. He’s right to a certain extent not to trust her, but he doesn’t need to be working nearly as hard as he is.
