‘Suits’ season 4 finale spoilers: Expect a slightly longer run time
Wednesday night marks the season 4 finale of “Suits,” and we come to you today with a reminder for those of you who are recording the episode: You may want to check your DVR / VCR / however you are recording the episode in order to ensure that you have it set for another five minutes or so.
Per show creator Aaron Korsh on Twitter (see below), this episode is going to run a few minute longer than the standard episode. You shouldn’t be too surprised about this at all, given that more and more cable shows are doing this for key episodes. For example, just take a look at “The Walking Dead” going a half-hour long for its upcoming finale, or the majority of “American Horror Story” episodes from this past season. We don’t always love episodes that run past the typical time allotted; if it is done only occasionally, as is the case here, then you know that there is a particularly good reason for it. There was just so much great footage that nothing could be cut out.
Korsh also confirmed that season 5 of the series will start filming this spring, which really should not surprise you at all. The show will be continuing along the same schedule, most likely, that it has been on over the past few years. That means it premiering in the summer, and then it returning in the winter for the second half of the season.
As for specific teases, all we’ll say is that expect the past to come back to haunt at least one or two characters.
