‘Orphan Black’ season 3 spoilers: First details on premiere episode

Saturday, April 18 is a date that all fans of “Orphan Black” should have ingrained into their memory sooner rather than later. This is when season 3 will premiere, and as you may have heard already, it will be showing across a variety of different networks (that includes of course its home BBC America, IFC, and AMC).

At the end of season 2, you learned that there is a whole new score of clones out there not played by Tatiana Maslany. While you can be assured that they will be an integral part of the series, they are not necessarily mentioned in the premiere synopsis. Instead, this chooses to focus more on the likes of Sarah and Cosima. Take a look below:

“Sarah pursues the missing Helena who is held in a faraway compound. Sarah must use her wiles – and acting chops – to deter a Topside investigator who threatens the Leda sisters’ lives. Meanwhile, Cosima appears to be rebounding from her illness, while Alison and Donnie face newfound financial woes. But when the menace of Castor rears its head once more, Sarah and her entire family must come together to survive.”

This episode will at least hopefully do a good job of showcasing the world in which some of these characters live in, which is no doubt going to be a complicated one. There are changes at Dyad, and there also many changes for many of the clones, as well. Given that the premiere is more than a month away, we would assume that there will be even more news worth reporting.
