‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ episode 2 preview: Nina freaks out; Max strips down
Next time on … “Survivor,” the “Worlds Apart” twist is going to continue to venture in completely unexpected directions. For example, we would have told you before the season that it would be the No Collar tribe with the hankering to take their clothes off and run around in the ocean. Instead, it’s the White Collars! Are they suddenly so happy to be free from the cubicle that this is what happens? Is the ghost of Richard Hatch inhabiting Max Dawson? It’s hard to really say, since Shirin is also going down this road, as well.
Ultimately, it’s probably a good thing that the White Collar group is having some fun, since maybe that will relax them after a positively insane first episode where they eliminated So Kim, who was really going 200 miles an hour and doing a terrible job telling lies and then admitting to them.
Elsewhere, things are not looking good for Nina on what is a surprisingly dysfunctional No Collar tribe. She is feeling left out, and we hate to say that this was obvious, but it was. She’s not only the youngest member of the tribe, but she explained in her casting video that her cochlear implants make it hard to understand what is going on unless everyone speaks one at a time. Given how young and “free” this group is, we don’t see them unfortunately making a huge effort to include her. Who knows, though? Maybe she does something that makes it hard to include her. Either way, Vince is probably thanking his lucky stars that someone else is a target.
There’s no word on what’s happening over at Team Blue Collar, but someone’s probably yelling at Dan.
