‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 21 video: Emily’s pageant problem

On this past episode of “Pretty Little Liars,” we saw Hanna do everything that she could to enter the world of beauty pageants for one reason and one reason only: Trying to ensure that she won the grand prize, which she would then use in order to get into college. After all, she was already turned down for financial aid due to her father making too much money.

As a result of this, she and Emily concocted a new plan: Shay Mitchell’s character would compete for her! Unfortunately for Emily, she comes to realize in the latest sneak peek below that this is potentially a whole lot more work than she realized. She thought that being a pageant queen meant just preparing for the event itself, and not a sea of commitments and appearances that go along with it. She also needs a parent’s signature, which will be inconvenient since her mother is off visiting her dad on his military base.

Do we still think that she will compete? Probably, and we especially hope so since this has the potential to be a heck of a fun storyline. This is not ground that the show has covered, and when you think about how competitive the world of beauty pageants probably is even without a master of sabotage like “A” around, imagine what sort of damage he or she can do!

Hopefully, we’ll get some further answers to this on Tuesday, in addition to some answers on a variety of other topics, as well!
