‘The Voice UK’ review: Lisa Ward, Andrew Marc, Mitch Miller close blind auditions
We’re not going to have answers to many of these questions at the moment. Instead, why don’t we go ahead and share some of the highlights from this episode? The following people all got a chair turned around for them.
Vanessa Hunt – She has the personality and the voice to do well in this competition, and she really did pick the right coach in Rita. She will bring the best out of her talent-wise, and also teach her to be a right performer for this era.
Autumn Sharif – She seems wise beyond her years, and this is great since you can hear some of that experience resonate through her music. Our obvious concern right now is just that there are so many women on Ricky Wilson’s team, and trying to stand out from that group is not going to be a particularly easy task.
Mitch Miller – The final member of Rita Ora’s team. We love his personality, and his bowtie! Really, he seems like a great way to tie together her team, and prepare her for what will be an exciting next few rounds.
Roison Geraghty-McDonagh – Tom Jones loves country singers, or he at least loves them more than any of the other coaches. There’s honestly not that big of a country music imprint with this show. Roison’s pretty good, but we have no clue how anyone will remember that lengthy name.
Lisa Ward – The final member of Team Tom! She’s not perfect, but she has an intriguing sense of style and way she moves about the stage.
Andrew Marc – For what seems like the millionth year in a row, Will is the last person to complete his team. At least he did so with an interesting performer.
