‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5, episode 14 preview: First look at ‘Foot Loose’

The winter premiere of “Rizzoli & Isles” earlier this year was all sorts of fun, mostly because it revolved mostly around an interesting case, and some strong character moments at the same time. It may seem very simplistic, but that is exactly what we want from this show the majority of the time. In general, we just want to see plenty of fun here after what was a pretty tough first half to the season.

Moving into the next new episode, the first thing that we have to say about it is that the title is pretty great: “Foot Loose.” Not only does that make you want to break out into song, but the synopsis below clearly suggests that there are a variety of interesting moments to come out of seeing a foot arrive on shore, almost like it was thrown off by the Bay Harbor Butcher:

“When a severed human foot washes up on shore, the squad is called in to identify the victim and track down the murderer as more body parts are found. After an unsuccessful job hunt, Angela finds she enjoys helping out Korsak at the Dirty Robber.”

There are still a variety of different episodes still to come, and while we cannot say too much about them right now, let’s just say that you are going to be seeing Jane and Maura in a variety of new situations. That is part of what makes us enjoy this show so much! So long as they keep this tradition up, we figure that we will be pretty happy.
