‘Empire’ episode 7 preview: Lucious starts to fall apart

Sooner or later, you would have to think that Lucious would have a breaking point on “Empire.” The man is going through a lot, and while may of his struggles for the most part are self-inflicted, not all of them are.

Ultimately, what we have with this character is a situation coming where we will see him going through a myriad of different stressful situations, and it leads to him being on the floor. This is what the sneak peek below for Wednesday night’s new episode “Our Dancing Days” is going to be about. Ultimately, we do feel like the guy is going to figure out a way in which to survive, if for no other reason than survival seems to be very much a part of his DNA. Also, the show wouldn’t be nearly so interesting without Terence Howard as the leading man.

This episode is most likely one that should contain a variety of great twists and turns, and that is what we like. Also, getting the chance to see Anika and Cookie feud further should make for plenty of fun. Six episodes in, and it is easy to tell why the show has become a smash hit. The characters are layered, but still easy enough to relate to.

Of course, one of our favorite games so far has been checking the ratings every Thursday, just to see if the show really does continue to flex some sort of dominance when it comes to the numbers week to week.
