‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 14 video: More buildup to Hayley / Jackson wedding

This is February, and this is the time in which most broadcast shows tend to really launch their big stories. Given that we saw some pretty shocking (and not to mention sad) stuff on “The Vampire Diaries” this past week, can’t you expect something in a similar vein on “The Originals“? It at least feels that way, based on some of what we have in the sneak peek below.

The good news for you is that executive producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci do not seem to be hinting in this video that there is a bloodbath ahead. However, a wedding is just as big in some ways, especially one when you have characters like Hayley and Jackson at the center of it. there are many political reasons for Phoebe Tonkin’s character to go through with this, with the most notable one being that this will mark a tremendous opportunity for her to actually be able to command an army. What better way is there to keep her family safe?

However, at the same time, love is a very powerful thing … and Elijah loves her. The circumstances surrounding this particular ceremony are going to throw him much closer to her than he has been as of late, but will he actually try to stop the ceremony? That is something you see in many romantic movies, and we’re not ruling it out.

There are also many other reasons why a wedding could not happen. At the moment, it is best to consider all possibilities, and then hope that the show manages to somehow still surprise you.
