‘Switched at Birth’ season 4 spoilers: Will we see Tank again?
Earlier this week on “Switched at Birth,” we saw what seemed to be the end for the Tank / Bay story … at least for the time being. Max Adler’s character was thrown out of school over what happened between him and his ex-girlfriend, when he slept with her while she was extremely drunk, and there were questions regarding whether or not she consented.
While Bay is going to continue to deal with the ramifications of this, especially when it comes to Emmett, it is fair to wonder if we are going to have any further update when it comes to Tank. Show executive producer Lizzy Weiss tells TVLine that we will see him again, but it is not going to be until the second half of the season airing this summer.
As for how she decided to conclude the Tank / Bay arc for the time being, Weiss admits that it was a complicated decision:
“We struggled a lot in the writers’ room with how to end the story. We finally felt like there had to be some sort of closure. Whether or not it’s realistic, I don’t know. People can argue about that.”
While those arguments will almost surely be ongoing, what we do feel is that the writers really did as tremendous a job as possible in order to make this story one that lived within a gray area. Nothing was altogether definitive, and the aftermath of this will continue to probably haunt Bay psychologically for weeks and months to come.

I hate the way they took a very nice guy who had a lot more patience with whiney Bay then I would have had and turned him into a person who now is maybe a rapist.
