‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Jaimie Alexander to return as Lady Sif
Just in case you wanted to see Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” deliver a significant punch when it comes to its guest casting, we have some great news for you today: Jaimie Alexander is going to be coming back as Lady Sif!
TV Insider first reported that the character, popularized during the “Thor” movies, will be around for the show’s second episode this spring airing on March 10. There is going to be another major twist to this story, as Sif is going to have lost much of her memory in regards to Thor and Asgard. As executive producer Jeffrey Bell tells the website, this should be a nice way to mix things up on a series given everything that has transpired as of late:
“[we are] going to have fun with that … It’ll give us some much-needed humor in a season that’s been full of betrayal and death.”
The biggest twist that has befallen the series is the sudden shift for Skye, who we now know is one of the Inhumans. There is a whole lot of ground that should be covered in the second half of this season about this, and that should include the emotional ramifications of what happened to get her to this point.
Of course, most of the story ahead is still shrouded in mystery. This is something that Bell and the entire production team really work hard to create, since so much of their series is all about that enormous element of surprise.
