‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 10 preview: How Sasha, Maggie move forward
Tonight, “The Walking Dead” returned to AMC, and it did so with an episode that pulled out our heart and the proceeded to stomp on it. “Shocking” is just one word that we would use to describe it, given that this installment saw the end of a beloved character.
As you know if you are continuing to read this article, that said person was Tyreese. Chad Coleman’s character is gone, and obviously what remains now is what will happen when it comes to Sasha. She has lost both Bob and now her brother in a very short amount of time, and that has to be a hard thing to take. The synopsis below (via SpoilerTV) doesn’t give us a sense of the struggle, but the promo does:
“The group feels beaten after living life on the road, but must continue to trudge along in spite of the changes they have incurred.”
There are many different moments coming up on “The Walking Dead” that are all going to be important in their own way, but to us one of the obvious ones at the moment is how these people continue to overcome everything that has happened to them. Maggie and Sasha in particular are devastated, but to go along with this, the group is dealing with a water shortage. It is boiling hot out in the Georgia sun, and you add to that having to constantly escape walkers, and you have people who really need hydration. Maybe they will find more on their way to Washington since this seems to be the plan even though they know that there is no cure there anymore.
