‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 13 preview: ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ equals greatness
We don’t get too amped up for standalone “Supernatural” episodes anymore. It’s not so much an issue of questioning whether or not they are going to be good. Instead, it is more along the lines of wondering whether or not they will bring something that is worth a discussion online.
With next week’s “Halt and Catch Fire,” it definitely feels like we are going to have that. After all, it does help when you have a story that revolves around ghosts seemingly living within technology and attacking people. It’s a completely crazy idea for a story, and something that hasn’t really been done in the past. Also, “Halt and Catch Fire” happens to be one of our favorite shows on the air right now, and we love that the writers / producers at the CW series are aware of it.
Want to get some basic details right now? Take a look at the attached synopsis, in case you have not seen it already:
“A ghost starts killing people through various electronic devices. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover who was killed and why this ghost is seeking revenge on a group of college students but what they can’t figure out is how he’s doing it. With three dead, the brothers must stop the ghost before he claims his next victim.”
If you are eagerly awaiting the return of the Mark of Cain storyline, don’t worry: Timothy Omundson is returning as Cain at some point a little later this month. That should provide you with all of the greatness there you are hoping for.
We’re just looking forward to the greatness that will come from this particular episode. Let us know what you want to see in the comments, and head over here if you’re so inclined to get some further TV news via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: The CW.)
