‘Scorpion’ episode 16 preview: Valentine’s Day arrives for the team

Who is ready for love to be in the air on “Scorpion”? Next week’s new episode is entitled “Love Boat,” and the most romantic holiday of the year is going to be a theme for the hour.

With that being said, we cannot quite say that we are going to see a whole lot of romance at the center of this episode … at least other than Ralph. Clearly, the kid is growing up, and having feelings for someone is the first real part of that. If you want to know a little bit more, including just who ends up helping the character with his romantic plans, take a look at the episode’s official synopsis:

“Team Scorpion goes undercover on a cruise ship to locate and disable deadly stolen rockets. Meanwhile, as Valentine’s Day approaches, Toby and Happy help Ralph, who is in the throes of his first crush.”

This could end up being the last episode of “Scorpion” for the month, depending on how CBS wants to schedule things. Due to them airing so many episodes early this year, including the one after the AFC Championship Game, they may choose to stretch out these final six episodes in a big way as we get deeper into the season. We would not be surprised if there is a long hiatus coming up in the near future.

Regardless of whatever happens on the show next, we do feel confident that it will be fun. Most Valentine-themed episodes of these shows do tend to be just that, and this is the show’s first chance to make a good impression.
