‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ rankings: Ian Ziering passes Leeza Gibbons, Geraldo Rivera as #1
Since Donald Trump is so arbitrary when it comes to his decisions on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” we are continuing our own arbitrary tradition today and providing you with the latest contestant rankings! There are still seven people left on the show, and of this group, maybe three of them with a genuine chance of being the final two standing. Seriously. If someone other than Geraldo, Leeza, or Ian makes it to the end, we will be almost as shocked as when Kevin Jonas was fired.
As always, we’re ranking based on a combination of things, including task performance, screen time, Trump’s affinity for them, and also if this is a winner that the show and NBC can get behind for years to come.
7. Johnny Damon – He’s not particularly bad, but he’s extremely quiet, and is never a chief creative force in a task. There’s no way he makes it into the final two under any circumstance.
6. Kenya Moore – Being “gone with the wind fabulous” does not guarantee you a spot in the finale. This is something that Kenya is having to realize right now the hard way. She may be skilled and smart, but she seems to be too polarizing a force.
5. Vivica A. Fox – If she can tune out Kenya, she still has final four potential. The problem is that she’s been weaker the past few tasks, and it feels like the drama is starting to get to her.
4. Brandi Glanville – We certainly did not see this coming, but after watching Vivica spent so much time fighting with Kenya, we’re starting to think that Brandi may actually be able to sneak her way into the final four. She has won as Project Manager.
3. Geraldo Rivera – He can raise a ton of money … and that’s about it. Seriously. Most of his ideas have sank like a lead balloon, including him declaring “screw the terrorists” during the boat task. Maybe he gets to the final two anyway, since he does have the Trump factor going for him.
2. Leeza Gibbons – In terms of overall strength, we feel like Leeza has done nary a thing wrong all season. With that being said, is she almost too under-the-radar? It feels like Trump really likes to have big personalities as the winner, and this is something we’ve thought about in the past week extensively.
1. Ian Ziering – A slight change-up to the top of the rankings after Ian completely demolished Kate as Project Manager this past episode. Even though he did lose once to Geraldo, he has shown that he really can do everything that is thrown at him in this competition. He’s smart, he’s passionate, and he is savvy. Also, he would be a noteworthy winner.
