‘Top Chef’ renewed for season 13, show already casting
Great news for all chefs that are out there with a big dream of being on TV: Your time could be coming at some point in the very-near future!
Bravo has made the decision now to official renew “Top Chef” for more episodes, which really should not be much of a surprise to anyone. After all, just think about it for a minute here. This is one of the most successful franchises on the network that does not involve Housewives, and it also happens to be one that tends to get great publicity from major media outlets. It is truly upscale, with the only real complaints here and there being about the product placement and the occasional dull challenge.
Ultimately, we feel like this is one of those shows that really could stay on the air a long time. Eventually, we do wonder whether or not we are going to run out of quality contestants, much in the same way the talent pool for singing shows has started to dry out. Ultimately, though, we don’t quite think that we are there just yet.
If you’re interested in being a part of the new season, Bravo is already putting out a casting call. If you are currently working in this profession, we far recommend this series to “Hell’s Kitchen.” The latter seems to be much more about discipline, and you do not tend to see the same sort of great creativity, spirit, and fun from it.
