‘King of the Nerds’ CarterMatt Podcast: EPs Anthony Carbone, Charles Wachter preview season 3

Ready for something a little bit different? We are here today with what we like to call a very special edition of the “King of the Nerds” CarterMatt Podcast.

In this edition, show hosts Matt Carter and Jessa Carter speak with two men who certainly know a thing or two about what it takes to get this show off the ground, and they are executive producers Anthony Carbone and Charles Wachter. They steer this particular ship across the nerdy solar system, and have a hand in almost everything, whether it be editing to planning out what some of the specific challenges are going to be. They are people who get to know the contestants over the course of the entire season, and suffice it to say, they are each extremely excited about season 3.

We will not give too much away in the description here, but some of the general topics covered include how early they start thinking of ideas, the casting process, and how they prepare each one of the contestants after the fact for being on television and having fans on social media.

Hopefully, those of you who love behind-the-scenes information will find quite a bit to like here. It’s yet another edition to our extensive preseason coverage, which includes daily spotlight articles on the contestants, and also a pre-show podcast that we recorded last week.
