‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 14 video: Nick Hawley’s past; Irving’s surroundings

“Sleepy Hollow” definitely had some surprises tonight, at least for those of you who were not expecting something more from the Frank Irving character. He’s back! However, there are still things that you have to learn about this character, and what he could bring to the table now that he has returned. Hopefully, these are all things that will be made clear in the next new episode entitled “Kali Yuga.”

Before we do anything else, though, let us start off here in the traditional way, and that is by sharing the official synopsis below:

“Nick Hawley gets help from Ichabod, Abbie and Jenny as he confronts his sinister childhood caretaker. Meanwhile, Capt. Irving adjusts to his new surroundings.”

After watching the promo for this episode below, we do admit that we are still in the process of trying to make sense of just what is coming up. In all honesty, this is not the strongest promo that the show has created, and we are having the same problem with many of the other stories that we’ve come to meet on the series so far this season. Even tonight, wouldn’t you have rather seen a whole lot more of Irving than what was going on with the painting? It feels like this show is in an identity crisis right now, and that is somewhat strange given that we are currently in the second season.
