Ian Ziering has more ‘Celebrity Apprenitce’ (and ‘Sharknado’) still to come
Did you really think that you were going to have more “Sharknado” without Ian Ziering? Stop fooling yourself! It was announced today that the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actor is going to reprise his role as Fin yet again for the Syfy franchise, which has become a cult favorite over the past couple of years. It also has generated good ratings and plenty of social-media impressions to boot.
Just in case this was not enough for you, the majority of the creative team is also returning. This includes Tara Reid (April), director Anthony C. Ferrante, writer Thunder Levin, and the team over at The Asylum. The setting for this third edition of the franchise will be Washington DC and really the entire Easter seaboard, which gives this particular chapter a much wider scope than anything that we’ve seen here before.
Ziering is currently in the midst of what we’d say is a pretty great career comeback. He is also a contestant on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” and based on just about everything that we’ve seen from him so far, he is doing a pretty tremendous job. He lost the last episode in which he was project manager, but it was not due to a lack of effort by any means. With the help of the entire team around him, he raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, and Donald Trump let both teams keep the money for their respective charities.
Now, we’re just waiting for another season so that Donald Trump can have Tara Reid in the boardroom. This is pretty much a dream scenario, and the show has to be renewed first!
