‘Downton Abbey’ season 5, episode 2 preview (PBS): Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt to shine
Did you enjoy tonight’s “Downton Abbey” premiere on PBS? Well, let us offer up some other news in regards to what lies ahead. We’ll have our five teasers for the next new episode up over the coming weekend, but for now, here’s a brief look at something you should be aware of when it comes to Lady Mary.
For those of you who felt like Michelle Dockery’s character spent way too much time on the show this past season dragging her feet romantically, this may be a breath of fresh air to you. With that being said, we also feel like opinions could be divided at the end of it. Let’s just say that she wants to take matters into her own hands versus that of society.
Another person to watch out for here is Anna (Joanne Froggatt). Did you really think that the story in regards to the death of Mr. Green was going to go away? It will remain a part of the story in season 5, and this will be one of the biggest developments that we have seen so far. Don’t worry: There will be some answers coming in due time, but that does not mean that they are happy ones. (With that being said, maybe worry?
Above all else, let us continue to stress that this season is far and away a much better one than season 4. There are many major developments that happen throughout, and we therefore feel like this should be a very fulfilling show to check out and enjoy this winter.
