‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Is ‘A’ reveal coming sometime soon?
There are already confirmed to be seven seasons of “Pretty Little Liars,” and with that in mind, we would understand one of your fears: The show is going to draw out the “A” mystery forever, and leave you hanging until the very last minute to get answers.
Luckily, here’s some news that may have you breathing a little bit easier: That is not necessarily the case! In a post on Twitter in response to some sort of seemingly-disgruntled fan, show creator Marlene King made it fairly clear that “sooner than later” is the name of the game when it comes to learning the central villain’s true identity. Let it be known that this is not confirmation in the slightest that we’ll learn their identity before the end of the season, but it seems as though it’ll happen before season 7 rolls around. We’re fine with that, since it gives us a full year of having “A” out in the open, which will change almost everything with the series.
With this being said, we would not be surprised if the show somehow finds a way to keep one mystery completely under wraps until the very end. Who knows? Maybe that will be the murder that really started it all. Or, maybe it will be something new that is established pretty soon, or even the murder of Mona. Personally, though, we would prefer to see that one answered this year, mostly because the longer that lingers, the longer the Liars are going to be on the whole Alison-is-“A” trail, even if that is not exactly the case.
Maybe some clues will surface on Tuesday night’s new episode, but this is the premiere. Do you really think there will be major answers coming during it?
