‘Parenthood’ season 6: The path to series finale teased in new video

Just in case you were not feeling emotional already at the thought of “Parenthood” going off of the air, we are pretty sure that the new promo below courtesy of NBC will do the trick and then some.

There are many moments teased in this video, but most of them ultimately come back to what is a single theme: Legacy. What do you want to leave behind at the end of the day? Do you want to be a part of a successful business, be known as a fighter, or make sure that you have someone to lean on through the rest of your days? If you’ve come to love the performances of Monica Potter, Lauren Graham, and the rest of the cast, these final four episodes are certainly going to get to you. A baby may enter the world, a heart attack can jeopardize everything, and Sarah has to make a huge choice regarding Hank.

Before we close off this promo, though, we do want to take a moment here and praise someone who has become in ways the unsung hero of this show: NBC. This is not a program that would have lasted on CBS, and maybe not even ABC or Fox. NBC has continued to keep the show on the air, knowing that its creative strength and diehard fan base will continue to try to make it as great as possible.

In the end, this show is getting the opportunity to go out a champ.

The final episodes will resume airing on Tuesday, January 9, and we will have further news as we move closer to that date.
