‘Top Chef: Boston’ episode 10 preview: The Julia Child tribute

When does the next new episode of “Top Chef” air? Well, let’s just say that you will be waiting a while. We have no official return date at present for the Bravo series, but it is fair to say that you will be waiting until after at least Christmas (and possibly New Year) in order to figure out what is going to happen next.

The biggest challenge that the chefs are going to be up against in the next episode will revolve around trying to follow in the footsteps of one Julia Child. She is by far one of the biggest culinary names in the history of food on TV, and as the contestants note, she is probably one of the reasons why “Top Chef” even exists in the first place.

As for the makeup of these final contestants, what makes them interesting at this point is that almost anything can happen. While Gregory has been a favorite most of the season, he has made mistakes. The same goes for Mei, Doug, and every other chef.

Right now, the biggest wild card is George. He entered the competition late, but has been remarkable in the short amount of time he has been on the season again. Can that sustain, or is he just still acting on the adrenaline of being back? Given that immunity really helped him out in the last elimination challenge, we feel like he could be in danger yet again soon.
