‘Falling Skies’ season 5 spoilers: ‘The Bridge’ alum set to recur

How often is it that we get a chance to report on the latest for “Falling Skies”? It is not too often, since this show in particular has a habit of keeping things close to the vest. This is magnified even further during the final season, mostly because there are so many secrets for it to keep! Nobody knows how things are going to end, and this is almost surely going to stay that way!

For the time being, though, we can at least give some more information regarding who will be a part of it. As first confirmed by show star Sarah Carter on Twitter (see HERE), Catalina Sandino Moreno is going to make some appearances on the TNT series. According to TVLine, she will appear in the second half of season 5 as Isabella, a driven and very-tough woman who will do anything to survive.

Specifically, expect her to spend a ton of time with the Pope character, and work undercover as a nurse while trying to ensure that he and her are on the same side. There are clearly many things about her that remain enigmatic, but we definitely do expect this to be a fun addition to the show. After all, Isabella is a character with a big heart, and that will become clear as we get further and further along into the story.

The final season of “Falling Skies” begins on TNT this coming summer. Stay tuned; we’ll have further news soon!
