‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: First look at Lucy Hale, cast at Mona’s funeral

We saw the ghost of Mona many times during the recent Christmas Special for “Pretty Little Liars,” and moving into the new episode airing on ABC Family Tuesday night, we are going to see this particular character at an entirely different venue: A funeral.

The likes of Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily have been to many funerals in the past, but the one for Janel Parrish’s character is probably a little bit different. For one, there is the cultural aspect to it, which you see in the photo above.

Also, there is the mere matter of emotional complication that is present here. Basically, you have a character who at one point tried to murder some of them, and yet Hanna had a history and a friendship with her. She also at points tried to help them out, and the reason presumably that Alison may have killed her was to ensure that everything continued to stay hidden.

With that being said, there is still no guarantee that Ali is guilty of anything. This is something that will be a huge theme of the upcoming winter premiere airing next month. Lucy Hale and the rest of the cast are going to have to figure out what they want to do in order to ensure that they are safe, and that the murderer cannot hurt anyone else.

Of course, there are also some other big mysteries out there, including who is “A,” and what really happened the night that Ali died.
