‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: 2015 teasers on Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev more
Rather than giving some of the long-traditional post-mortem interviews following the winter finale of “The Vampire Diaries” on Thursday night, executive producer Julie Plec went in a little bit of a different route.
Rather, she ventured over to her Twitter account, and posted what were ultimately a wonderful series of messages setting up what could be a great second half of season 6. Among some of our favorites? That Stefan may “fix a friendship” and then something more, that an upcoming episode directed by Paul Wesley is something grand, and that Elena (Nina Dobrev) in particular may have an opportunity to completely change her life. For those of you who love flashbacks, there is going to be a great one coming up that puts Damon (Ian Somerhalder) back in the spotlight once again.
Unfortunately, there are also going to be some stories coming up that should have you very worried, and even afraid that some of your favorite characters could end up biting the dust. Plec tweeted that there are still multiple deaths coming up, and this is already on the heels that Caroline’s mother has a form of cancer that looks impossible to heal. (If there is one job on this show we would not want to have, it is playing a parent to one of the main characters.)
In the end, there are probably still many other announcements still to come, especially when we get closer to the end of the season. We don’t imagine that at this point, the final episodes have even been written.
