‘Arrow’ season 3 winter finale: Stephen Amell on finale twist
Stephen Amell may be a TV superhero, but he is still not above having a little bit of fun with fans from time to time on some of the big twists that fall on his shows. For the latest example of that, just take a look at how he is responding to the major twist on Wednesday night’s “Arrow” finale.
In a post on his Twitter account, Amell jokingly claimed “it was a good run” about his time on the show. Obviously, it looks as though Oliver Queen is dead; how could it not? After all, he ended up being stabbed through the stomach by Ra’s al Ghul, and then knocked off of the side of a mountain.
Of course, we don’t exactly feel that this is the end for Oliver, though we’re not exactly sure how he works his way out of this. The next few episodes are most likely going to be huge for all of the other members of Team Arrow as they start to figure this out, and this also includes Laurel Lance. We don’t necessarily think that there is a Black Canary arc coming up entirely, but she is going to have a whole lot more time in the spotlight with the Arrow out of the picture for a while.
There are some other important questions that are going to need to be asked soon, as well, including whether or not Quentin is ever going to learn the truth about Sara, and also if Thea will figure out just what Malcolm Merlyn did in order to ensure that he could get someone, either Ra’s or Oliver, out of the picture.
