‘The Mentalist’ season 7 spoilers: Owain Yeoman, Amanda Righetti to return

Van Pelt -Great news for all fans of Rigsby and Van Pelt on “The Mentalist“: It looks like you are going to be seeing them once again before the show on CBS comes to a close officially next year.

This news was confirmed today in a new post on Twitter via series star Tim Kang (Cho), and you can see that at the bottom of this article. Owain Yeoman and Amanda Righetti were at one point enormous parts of the series and also regulars, but this status changed during the sixth season of the show after the death of Red John. This caused the show to undergo a massive creative reboot, as Jane and Lisbon ended up heading to Austin, which is where Cho also happened to land a job.

While there are no other details right now available about this gig, it is still very easy to express a general level of excitement over it. Rigsby and Van Pelt are two of the most important characters out there when it comes to “The Mentalist,” and we like to think of the two of them as being both a big part of the show family. Not having them on the series would feel like a complete shame, given that this is said to be the final season.

Given that we heard not too long ago that their status was still a mystery, we would assume that these two actors are probably not going to be appearing until somewhat close to the end of the series. The last episodes are set to air in a two-hour block this February, following the show’s move to Wednesday night.
