‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 10 review: Are things over for Casey, Dawson?

Chicago Fire -Going into Tuesday night’s fall finale for “Chicago Fire,” one thing was pretty darn clear: Casey and Dawson were not in a great place. Everything that happened from there on out only made matters so much worse than they were beforehand.

The biggest takeaway from this big episode was mostly that Casey created a whole mess of problems courtesy of a night out drinking with Severide, which led in turn to them waking up the next morning with many questions. Did Casey cheat on his fiancee? No; the woman actually slept with Kelly. However, her having Casey’s phone certainly was not good, and the couple were left to wonder whether or not they were going to be able to make their personal and professional dynamics work given all the pressure that they are under.

Looking elsewhere, the news was not a whole lot better. Molly’s food truck business literally went up in flames, and probably in the worst way ever since it was a nativity festival of sorts. Does this put an end to this part of the story?

Also, we’re insanely worried about the Chief right now, given that he has to worry about a baby’s life in jeopardy, and if there is anything that he can possibly do.

At times, it feels like this episode was really just one terrible thing piling up after the next. This made it difficult TV at times, but it is still hard to deny that it was anything other than finely-crafted. Grade: B+.
