‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 11 preview: When do Taylor Kinney, cast return?

Tonight marked yet another emotional episode in a series of them for “Chicago Fire,” and the hardest thing about this one is pretty simple: Having to wait for a long time for the next episode to air. Tonight was the winter finale, and it will be after the holidays when you can see the show back.

So what date should you mark on the calendar? Tuesday, January 6. This is tentatively the return date of the show to NBC, which makes a little bit of sense. This is the week when many NBC shows return, and there are still quite a few stories here left to tell.

We do know that tonight certainly ended on some pretty rough notes, in between Baby Boden, what is going on with Mills and Brett, and also the fate of many other relationships to go along with it. For a show that was intense at the beginning of the season, this entire episode to us clearly represented that they had basically zero desire to step off of the gas pedal at all. Things are probably only going to get more intense the rest of the way, and you better be prepared for that and then some.

Of course, we are going to be around with some further news when it gets closer to the second part of the season airing. Unfortunately, we are still so far out that it is pretty darn hard to know what is going to be coming up.
