‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 12: ‘Anarchy Afterword’ to feature Kurt Sutter, Paris Barclay
Tonight’s new episode of “Sons of Anarchy” may be entitled “Red Rose,” but we cannot imagine there being an ending too rosy to this story tonight. Instead, we expect many a bump in the road, and also a few situations that could lead to loss of life. You had to know that this story was not going to have a peaceful end, right?
One thing that has been almost as chaotic lately as the show is the hosting job on “Anarchy Afterword,” given that we’ve had three different hosts within the past three episodes of the show. Original host Chris Franjola exited several weeks back, which led to creator Kurt Sutter taking the reigns for a show. Then, radio personality Kevin Ryder stepped in to handle the show for “Suits of Woe” two weeks ago.
Well, tonight we have some consistency! Ryder will return to host the show, and will be joined by Sutter, fellow executive producer / frequent director Paris Barclay, and also some “surprise guests.” Hopefully, they’ll be a few cast members who are important to tonight’s episode.
As for when the aftershow will begin, what we’ve heard is probably around midnight. We expect tonight’s episode to be a rather long one, and the TV Guide listing has “Sons of Anarchy” at around 2 hours and 45 minutes. They never choose to break up the listings between the show and the aftershow, which is something that you don’t typically see with other shows. With that extra 45 minutes at the end here, we expect there to be a pretty lively discussion about what transpired in the episode.
