‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 12 preview: A look at Kim Coates’ Tig in ‘Red Rose’
With this being the week of Thanksgiving, and with this also being a week without “Sons of Anarchy,” there have not been many opportunities to really sit down and discuss themes, characters, or really anything else pertaining to the show.
The only thing new that we have for you now is a new image of Tig from “Red Rose,” the penultimate episode of the series airing on Tuesday. Save for Kim Coates and a van, there is not a whole lot to go on or discuss here, but you can say that about most of the photos that this show tends to release in advance. Most of them are just shots of characters standing around outside, or having some sort of intense conversation with one other character.
If you were to ask us around a season or two ago about whether or not Tig would survive this show, we would have voted pretty defiantly no due to everything with Damon Pope and all of that drama. However, things have turned around for the character, and he may be the happiest person in SAMCRO at the moment due to his relationship with Venus. While we may or may not see Walton Goggins again on the show, losing him right when he has started to find someone who understands him would be rather devastating.
The biggest thing that Tig has to concern himself with is collateral damage, which could be said for many of the Sons right now. We cannot see him being individually targeted, but remember here that neither was Bobby beyond just being a result of Jax’s clouded decisions.
Do you think Tig makes it through the end of this episode, and also the series finale?
