‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Stereo Kicks, Lauren Platt, Ben Haenow get celebrity choices

Stereo Kicks -There is something a little bit different about the way that some songs are being chosen on “The X Factor” this weekend … and also who is the one doing the choosing.

We already gave you the list of the songs chosen by the public for the five remaining acts in the competition, and to go along with that now, we’ve got the final five songs … which were all chosen by stars that are currently making money as professional artists. Most of them also have long-standing connections to the series in some way.

Andrea Faustini, “Chandelier” – This was apparently chosen by Sam Smith, and we really love this song. It may be another ballad, but it’s at least modern and extremely intense. It should bring something different to the table.

Stereo Kicks, “Just the Way You Are” – Chosen by Tulisa, and this song really could not be any more perfect for them. It gives them a chance to harmonize, but also appeal to the ladies in the audience.

Fleur East, “A Fool in Love” – Chosen by Emeli Sande. It’s probably the least-known of the songs, but we can totally see Fleur rocking out to Tina Turner. They even have similar hair!

Ben Haenow, “Come Together” – It’s a little random that One Direction chose a song for Ben of all people, but then again, this is Simon Cowell’s act and he could have called up the boys easy. This is a deceptively tough song, but Ben has the potential to rock with it.

Lauren Platt, “Clarity” – We still feel like no singing-show contestant has pulled off this song properly, and it seems really good for Lauren. Also, it was picked by Little Mix, who have a similar sort of style.
