‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: Still only 13 episodes
We’re here today with a little bit of cleanup on aisle “Beauty and the Beast,” at least when it comes to a rumor that has started to spiral a little bit.
Let’s go ahead and follow the paper trail here. In a recent article by Christian Post, it was mentioned that the season is going to be 22 episodes. Interestingly, we’re cited in the article for some separate information about episode titles and other matters, but just to be 100% clear, we’ve always maintained that the show is going to be 13 episodes. We could see that reading wrong in certain contexts.
Anyway, show star Austin Basis (who we’ve spoken to in the past) cleared everything up on Twitter, saying that the order is what the order was originally announced to be. It’d be cool if there were 22 episodes, but we would have no idea when the network would even schedule them. Not to beat the subject to death, but with “Hart of Dixie” taking the Friday timeslot, this show basically now is in third position behind “iZombie” and “The Messengers.” We feel like they are going to get the earlier premiere dates most likely, since the network will want to try them out.
We feel like the most likely scenario for this show is that in March it premieres, and takes the timeslot after the conclusion of “Hart of Dixie.” This is pure speculation on our part, though. What we do know is that you’re going to see more of Nicole Gale Anderson as Heather this season, and that you will have Cat and Vincent working more on being a great couple rather than just trying to get together. They’ve already solved at least that part of the problem.
