‘Faking It’ season 2 fall finale spoilers: Lauren runs for class president (video)
Remember the days when “Faking It” focused mostly on how terrible a person Lauren can be? If you have missed that particular side to this story, have no fear! That is going to be back and then some on Tuesday night’s fall finale.
In the sneak-peek video below, you can get a pretty good idea of what we are talking about here as the character proclaims that she is back on board her goal of turning Hester High into a school that “she would actually want to go to,” and one of her ways to do that is by running for class president. This means that there are many funny moments to be had, as she picks people to run her campaign, and probably tries to poo-poo almost any crazy, experimental method of teaching that the school does … like whatever that nonsense was during the last episode.
Are there major roadblocks standing in Lauren’s way? Sure. We imagine that there are some people in this world awful enough to expose her secret if they were to find out about it, so let’s just hope that everyone on the show clams up.
Meanwhile, you also have to wonder about Lauren’s current hatred for Theo blinding her to some potential problems elsewhere. She is understandably furious about being blown off by him in the last episode, and the only thing that we would caution her about (if we were in that world, and if we were brave enough to actually caution her) is that he is obviously hiding a secret of his own that he is scared to talk about. We’re not entirely sure what it is, but it’s clearly something that he is so nervous about that it is causing him to stray from serious situations.
There’s some more to read up about now if you are a “Faking It” fan, and that includes the arrival of a new mentor for Liam, and questions about whether or not he could even leave Hester in the midst of an epic Amy / Karma feud.
