‘Gotham’ episode 10 (fall finale) spoilers: Poison Ivy returns!
Did you wonder whether or not “Gotham” was limiting Poison Ivy to just a single episode in the pilot? Well, we now have definitive proof that we are going to see at least a little more of her in the fall finale Monday night.
Below, you can see the young girl, whose father Mario Pepper was already taken from the world, spending a little time with none other than Selina Kyle. This makes a good bit of sense, at least given the relationship that Catwoman and Poison Ivy do have within the world of the Batman comics. Still, we cannot exactly say that they were ever meant to be close to each other at such an early age.
Even though the two may have some common bonds, the scene in the video basically reveals that there is also plenty of tension. If this Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, we can imagine him late in life wishing that he could go back and figure out how to get some of these ladies on the straight and narrow. This actually gives the Caped Crusader a little more of a darkened edge, since he may be full of regret over his role in being around so many of these potential supervillains early on.
Granted, he is also a kid, and one who just lost his parents to go along with it. We really cannot exactly say that there is any way he could know better given his emotional state, and how focused he’s been in a variety of other things. It’s not exactly like James Gordon is telling him to completely stay away either.
