‘Scorpion’ episode 10 preview: What’s next for Katharine McPhee, cast in ‘Talismans’
The journey for “Scorpion” on CBS so far has been an interesting one, with the show trying to solidify its place in the TV landscape despite some pretty tough roadblocks, such as airing against “The Voice,” “Sleepy Hollow,” and “Dancing with the Stars” all at the same time.
Luckily, this show probably benefits a little bit from being the only crime procedural in this spot (we don’t consider “Sleepy Hollow” that, even if it has cops), and it plays at times like a serious “Big Bang Theory” with bad guys to take down every week. We know already that it has been given a back nine, bringing its total to 22 for the season. Therefore, there is nothing to worry about when it comes to the show’s immediate future.
Next week, Katharine McPhee, Robert Patrick, and the rest of the cast have a story entitled “Talismans” that will be at times emotion, and will also take them almost everywhere around the world. For some more on what to expect, just take a look at the official synopsis below:
“When a military plane is shot down in Bosnia, Team Scorpion must help recover its stealth technology before it falls into enemy hands. Meanwhile, Walter’s sister takes a break from her MS treatment and spends time at the garage with Sylvester.”
If there was one thing we were still hoping for when it comes to next week, it is for the show to allow itself to shake up the formula somewhat, and give us a few surprises. Sometimes, the plots this season have been a little too predictable.
