NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 4, episode 5 preview: The power of the (talking) wolf
The weird and the wacky often comes to “Grimm” on Friday nights, and somehow, the NBC show continues to do a very good at making us buy the vast majority of what they put on the air. They sell the world extremely well to us, and it is thanks to that we really will go along almost everything … and this includes a talking wolf who allegedly persuades someone to commit terrible crimes.
As insane as that sounds (and it does sound pretty darn insane), this is the premise behind the upcoming fifth episode of the show this season. If you want to see some other details in terms of what to expect, just take a look at the attached synopsis right now:
“Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to the scene of a crime where the suspect swears she was driven to madness by a very persistent talking wolf. Meanwhile, Nick and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) wonder if getting his Grimm powers back is worth giving up a normal life. Elsewhere, Bud (guest star Danny Bruno) hopes Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) can help take care of a wesen-related issue and the threats against Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee’s (Bree Turner) inter-wesen marriage heat up. In Austria, Adalind (Claire Coffee) continues her perilous trek in the hopes of retrieving her daughter.”
The only thing that we really want to see in here is a genuine debate between Nick and Juliette. It reminds us in a way of “Chuck,” when Zachary Levi’s character had to figure out whether or not he was willing to give up being a spy.
