‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: New trailer hints at Cupid story, Laurel’s journey

It is not often that we get a substantial teaser in the middle of an “Arrow” season, but we suppose that is what makes the new “Dangerous Road” trailer below all the more interesting. Most of the footage is just from the next two episodes, but it’s pretty insane that they managed to cram so much in such a small amount of space.

The biggest element of this trailer to us is mostly the continued journey of Laurel Lance towards becoming the Black Canary, and she tells Ted Grant quite a bit about her hopes to someday avenge the death of her sister Sara. Unfortunately, does she really understand what she is getting herself into? Oliver wonders, and at the moment, he really should. Laurel has not proven herself as a fighter yet, and it will be a very long time (hopefully) before she gets to that point. We don’t want to see this sort of thing rushed in the slightest.

Meanwhile, we learn through here that Grant was at one point a vigilante himself, and he and Oliver therefore have quite a connection. Meanwhile, Roy’s still going to be struggling with some of his visions after feeling like he is the responsible party in Sara’s death … maybe. We still don’t know what is going on with the guy, but it seems very unlikely that he is the culprit.

Finally, more Malcolm Merlyn! You know you missed the guy, right! John Barrowman is a series regular, so rest assured that he is not going to be heading anywhere for a long time.
