‘Orphan Black’ season 3 spoilers: Clones and not much else in first BBC America teaser

While it may be a little while before you actually get an opportunity to watch the third season of “Orphan Black” premiere over on BBC America, you don’t have to wait that long at all when it comes to watching the first-ever teaser at the bottom of this article.

The music here is set to Lesley Gore’s  “You Don’t Own Me,” and the teaser itself is very simple: Duplication, and very little else. If you love to look at things from a microscopic level, though, then you probably really dug this.

The theme in the teaser, though, does reflect pretty darn perfectly what the show is going to be all about on the upcoming season. We’ve learned now that Tatiana Maslany is no longer the only actor who has multiple versions out there, and in a way, this is extremely exciting. However, at the same time you run the risk here of it being a few too many characters to keep track of. Do we think that the show can pull this off? Sure, and mostly because of the sole fact that they have shown the capacity to tackle a variety of difficult topics already.

Let’s just hope that in the end, this new season delivers when it comes to bringing more of what the fans really love: Twisted storylines, and extremely cool characters that you don’t see elsewhere on TV.

The new season of “Orphan Black” will come on in the spring of 2015; hopefully, Maslany will finally get the credit she deserves for this one.
