‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Emily Bett Rickards teases holiday epiosde

Arrow -Want to ring in the holiday season with “Arrow“? Well, you may get a chance to do just that this year.

Speaking in a new story from TVLine, series star Emily Bett Rickards makes it clear that there is going to be a holiday-themed episode this year, which was made clear to some already due to a menorah that was apparently spotted on Felicity’s desk during a recent set visit.

To us, it definitely feels as though the timing is ultimately right for such an episode to take place on the show, given that there has been little to no holiday cheer over the course of the first two seasons. Isn’t it time about right to finally have something fun right now?

Ultimately, our hope here is that the show can at least take a few minutes to showcase what Christmas or Hanukkah is like for some of these characters, since there has to be a moment for them to sit down, smile, and take in the day. We’re also somewhat curious on who they each spend the day with. For example, does Felicity’s mom return to the picture, do we see some of Diggle’s extended family, or do they all sit down in the Arrow-cave with some hot cocoa and find their own way to celebrate.

Ultimately, we’ll get a chance to find out a little bit more about that next month, when the fall portion of “Arrow” this season wraps up.
