‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: First details on Jamie Bamber’s appearance as Bishop’s husband
You may have known for a little while now that you are going to see an appearance from Jamie Bamber on “NCIS” season 12 in the role of Bishop’s husband Jake. However, what you may not have known, at least until now, is just what his story is going to be all about.
In a way, “Grounded” (airing Tuesday, November 25) is going to be the show’s Thanksgiving episode this year, given that it is set the day before the holiday, and the setting for the hour may actually be somewhere may people will be: The airport. Just take a look at the synopsis below to see how Jake gets involved in the case:
“While stuck at the Dulles airport due to inclement weather, DiNozzo, Bishop and her husband Jake work an NCIS case involving an elevated terrorist threat at Northeast airports during the Thanksgiving travel surge.”
There may be a part of you questioning if all of this story really even makes a whole lot of sense, and that part of you is pretty darn sound. After all, it is not entirely logical that there would be a reason for an attorney like Jake to get involved in stopping a terrorist threat. However, sometimes you just have to use some of the resources that are given to you, and we cannot exactly imagine that there will be a whole lot at the team’s disposal at the time in which this incident happens.
Stay tuned, since we’ll have a whole lot more on this story prior to it airing.

Not interested in a Bishop centric episode especially not for a holiday episode.

This should prove interesting and give us some background on Bishop and her hubby. There may be more to his background than him being a lawyer. I say let’s watch and see.
