‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 2 preview: Walden lists the reason to marry Alan

Tomorrow night, the biggest episode of “Two and a Half Men” in quite a long time will be here, and there is one very-simple reason for that: There are not many other episodes out there that could feature a wedding between the show’s two main characters Alan and Walden … though there was that fake-out that happened a while back.

If you’ve been reading some of our other coverage of the show lately, then you already know why Ashton Kutcher’s character is making the super-crazy decision that he is to marry Jon Cryer’s longtime slacker. He wants a baby, and due to the messed-up way that the adoption system works, they recognize marriages as so significant to raising your odds. We’ve said this before, and we’ll say it again: The show is making so much more of a mockery of the adoption system than anything that has to do with same-sex marriage.

When the wedding itself comes along, expect Michael Bolton, the return of Amber Tamblyn as Jenny, and a few other little silly surprises to go along with it. there may be one little snag before then in the pre-nup, but we figure that in time, these two guys will figure this out. After all, remember that they both have a pretty big incentive to tie the knot. Alan, somehow, will have mooched his way into being married to a billionaire tech mogul.

This entire story is ridiculous, but we’ll definitely keep watching, and reviewing, the rest of the season anyway. We’ll have more come tomorrow night, so be on the lookout.
