ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 5 preview: Last look at Stana Katic, Nathan FIllion, ‘Meme is Murder’
Tonight, “Castle” is airing its latest new episode in “Meme is Murder,” so why not get one final look at what you can expect!
This episode seems on paper to be a personal favorite in terms of subject matter. There are not a whole lot of opportunities to see the show really have a whole lot of fun with the internet, and mostly because you’re dealing with characters who are adults (yes, Castle is technically an adult despite some of his occasional actions), and it doesn’t fit organically into some of what they are doing.
In a way, the whole “internet star dies” story has almost become a metaphorical meme for mystery shows already, but what seems a little different here is that “Castle” is going all-out and embracing all forms of media. We’re not just seeing them use one or two things. Also, this episode will see Castle trying to apply what he has learned about social media to his actual career as a writer, to varying degrees. Sometimes, the best-laid plans can go to waste when you are clumsy!
In the end, this seems to be a very fun story. We don’t anticipate there being any enormous shocker when it comes to the wedding for Nathan Fillion or Stana Katic’s characters, mostly because this isn’t that sort of story. With that being said, we are getting close to the time when we could really see that ceremony happen, so be on the lookout.
The last video that we have below is the Canadian promo for the episode. It’s not the most revealing in the world, but there are still a few little details in here of what to expect.
